Personal Narrative: My Junior High School Experience
Junior High was a very good experience for me, it was filled with excitement. I would always walk down the hallway knowing everyone and every teacher, but I would always think about going to highschool. I wanted to leave junior high and go to highschool so bad. I remember I would always say ¨I can't wait till highschool¨ but when I left the place where all my memories were made , where I felt most comfortable I noticed things about myself. I noticed that I took junior high for granted I didn't even think about all the things that I would miss, I was just so caught up with school . I wish I could go back in time and just relive some of my junior high days. When I came to high school I realized many new things about myself. I realized that I took junior high for granted and how many memories I had made. …show more content…
Also I realized I take many things for granted that I do not even notice.
In junior high I didn't realize that I was going to miss being there everyday and seeing my favorite teachers and bestfriends. My high school experience has taught me a lot. High school has taught me how I act towards people and much more. When I came to high school and was here for a few months I wanted to go back to junior high. I missed all the memories, teachers, less homework, etc. I think if I would have not took junior high for granted, would I have enjoyed it more and maybe enjoy high school more? Not taking junior high for advantage can influence another student´s life by letting them want enjoy there time there and make the best out of everything. Also if they heard high school students say not to take their time there for granted they may try their best in school and enjoy it more, because they might have more fun if they know it won't be like that
Review of Mike Rose's Essay Entitled, Tracking
High school was not a completely dreadful experience, but I did not get a really an exceptional education. As I entered high school, I thought it would be a whole new exciting chapter in my life. I started out as an involved student, and went through all of the Advance Placement and Honor classes, and managed to be at the top 12% of my class. In high school, I basically placed myself to enjoy it; I joined all of the extra curricular activities I was interested in. I was in band, tennis, swimming, dance team, and Key Club. Sometimes I was at school for about fourteen hours a day, four times a week.
Obstacles of Junior Year Gave me the Keys for a Successful Future
In short, I feel junior year provided a foundation for the more mature and adult chapters of my life, and without the numerous obstacles of junior year, I would never have gained the key to a successful future.
Transition To Middle School
1. It's nothing like high school. I know, you're glad to get out of the same classroom all day, and that part is great, but don't think junior high is like senior high. You may or may not be exposed to new situations like peer pressure, confromity and stress and identity issues. However, this is normal because you're discovering yourself, it's fine.
Personal Narrative: How High School Has Shaped Me
Throughout my four years in high school I have been fortunate enough to fulfill many of my aspirations and my thirst for knowledge. One goal that I would like to achieve is to become an international attorney. I have aligned my involvement in specific academic and extra-curricular activities to aid me preparing for the long road between my present situation and the day I pass the bar exam. Through my high school activities I have learned three virtues that I have deemed necessary to achieve my goal, passion, self-discipline, and perseverance.
Personal Narrative: My Junior Year Of High School
I was told that this, my junior year, would be the easiest year of my high school career. And no, they were absolutely wrong. It was not just school and grades that I was concern about either. I had other things to worry about, things like, driving, clubs, friends and family. I however had no idea that it would be this difficult. Throughout this school year I have learned many things; like the value of sleep, whose really your friend, and that although very important, grades are not everything.
Personal Narrative: My Journey To High School
When I was entering into High School, I tried to join as many clubs as I can, since I wanted not only to be superior in grades, but also extracurricular activities. So as usual, I joined Key Club. At first volunteering at the events was fun, but as I went to more events, it felt as if it was a chore. I did not feel any passion; it was rather tiresome.
Personal Narrative: My High School Experience
Throughout my high school experience, I've been able to obtain knowledge that I can use to better my life. Some of the classes I've taken have been a blessing in disguise. For example, I never expected to learn as much as I did about writing and literature by just simply reading. Many of my teachers have pushed me to my limits and inspired me to think differently from my peers. In general my best English experience was reading "MacBeth" by William Shakespeare in Mr. Elwell's class, where I also realized I had many English skills to improve on.
Personal Narrative: Finding Myself As A College Athlete
I envision high school as an essential stepping stone for everyone. The era where every individual lacks the complete confidence in defining who they are or what they want to be. The four years of high school was the moment and opportunity to seek the interests that stood out to me the most. The experiences you make and the people you associate with are a crucial part of finding yourself.
Personal Narrative: My First Year Of High School
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is to never give up and that everything in life happens for a reason. Throughout my entire life my dreams have been put down by society, wether it was a coach, friend, or family member. Everything I gain is because of me and only me. When I started my first year of high school, I knew I wasn't ready to maintain my academics, my social life, and my sports schedule all at once. I was completely intimidated by everything occurring in my life at the time.
Importance Of The Marine Corps
As much as I enjoyed school as a child, that was not the case when I reached high school. High school was an entire different environment from elementary and middle school. I strongly disliked my classes because I felt that they were too difficult for me and the teachers never had time to explain the course material more efficiently. It felt as though the teachers were
Personal Narrative: My Four Years In High School
High school is meant to be the time of your life, but for most seniors just like me it can be some of the most emotional and crazy time. The things in my past make me who I am today, and the things I do now are the first footsteps into the future. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these past four years, and I still have so much learning to do. This is my high school story; the good, bad, and the ugly.
Process Essay: How To Survive Jr.
Oh Jr. High, you moved on from the little elementary classes and now you're in the real deal. Things will be different, you will get chromebooks, more homework and even crazier teachers (cough cough Mrs Delucia) but their are some things you should know. Things like what and what not to get involved in also known as your social life, some of the responsibilities of a Jr. Higher and some of the academic up and downs, (there are more ups than downs but still, you should know about them). New opportunities will arise such as after school sports, leads in school plays ASB (student government), yearbook editing and photography, cool electives, awesome field trips to Astrocamp, Catalina Island and, Washington D.C andit will be the first year that you do science fair. You should know how to handle all these things, and that is the exactly what this essay is for.
New Kid Essay
As young girl with big dreams I imagined my senior year of high school to be one of the best years of my life. I imagined going to homecoming with all of my friends, being the captain of the varsity soccer and cheerleading teams, going to Friday night football games, going to Prom with my perfect date, and going on a senior trip with all of my best friends. I never imagined my senior year to be the way that it is. I am the new kid.

My Journey Through High School Essay
Time flies so fast. Looking back, my high school is just like a movie, a lot of things happened. High School is four years of growing up and probably a time in your life where you go through the most changes. In high school you are able to discover yourself and find out who you are as a person. Each year is special and unique in their own way. My journey through high school was a tough one, especially because I decided to not only focus on academic work but also to invest quality time in extra curriculum activities. I wanted more than just academic excellence; I wanted to be a leader, I wanted to add value to every aspect of my life, I wanted a rounded education and not just mere schooling. My success story is what I will like to share with you; how I really made it and how this defines my personality. My journey in High School was scary, exciting, and successful.

My High School Journey
At the beginning of my high school journey, it was scary. Just the thought of a new school, meeting new people, and the fact that this would be my last years before becoming an “adult” and getting closer to college, was unbelievable, yet scary. My high school journey had many ups and down. These ups and downs vary because I experienced them in my academics and socially. I can’t forget that I learned a lot and met many different personalities, with people whom I trust and had many great times. Also as growing up throughout high school , I’m slowly seeing who I am. I know this is not the end of life, just a great piece of my life will end and everything will soon change again. I can give so many advices to just start off great at the beginning of anyone’s high school journey. I think it's important to join clubs, activities,or sports so you can meet new people. It’s important to surround yourself with people who will take their education seriously because at the end of high school, you will see how far you got by being surrounded with positive people and that’s a benefit because you concentrate and achieve excellent grades and that leads to good colleges. Also, joining more clubs and participating looks great with your cap and gown at the graduation! Another advice is do NOT procrastinate, I have done it so many times and it sucks to sleep late and wake up early and by doing so, you avoid stress which is a pain in the butt. Do your homework, get good grades, and ask
Personal Narrative: My Freshman Year Of High School
Being a freshman is the hardest of your four years in high school. Have you ever been pressured to be the best person you can be? This is how my year was as a freshman. Freshman year was the most different I never thought I would of found my way around the school when I first started to go there. Freshman year was the best year throughout my years of high school and it was the only year I had friends. During this year I had a lot of anxieties which dealt with me thinking I’m gonna be alone and not have any friends throughout the year to support me through the whole thing. Also, I would think of the pressure of not doing good in any of my classes so I would think it would affect my GPA in the future. The transition from middle school to high school was a different type of thing to do.
The Garden Of Eden Chapter Summary
Hundreds of Arawaks arrive from the New World in violation of Queen Isabella’s order forbidding Indian slavery. Aspiring knight Vasco Núñez de Balboa guards the Arawaks en route to the capital. After some Arawaks escape, one escapee impales herself on Balboa's sword to prevent recapture. Columbus' agents report Columbus found "The Garden of Eden". The bad news is the colonists are in rebellion and the Arawak "prisoners of war" are legally enslaved.
What Is The Siddhartha Journey
Looking at life before graduating high school is scary. It seems like yesterday I was crying because my mom was about to leave me for my first day of preschool. I am about to begin and figure out what life has ahead for me and what my point is in life. To me that's scary. I am excited to see what my point in life is, but at the same time nervous.
Winnie The Pooh
The beginning of the year wasn’t exactly as I envisioned as an eighth grader. I thought that going to high school would be some life changing experience with new people and more privileges. It turned out that it wasn’t that life changing so much as perspective changing and there was more work, more stress, and privileges tend to come with a price. My first day left me nervous, lost, confused, stressed, overwhelmed, and tired by the end of the day. The first thing I did when I got home that day
Freshman Advice
Coming into high school as a freshman scared and not knowing what to do was one of the many thoughts that were in my mind, but now as a senior that is ready to graduate in a couple of weeks I wish I could have known a couple of things before starting my journey till this day. I have some important advice from my past past experiences to you as a freshman is: Starting a sport to play, Getting involved with clubs, and Being social.
Personal Narrative: Back To High School
After sitting at the same desk for three years, I figured I was beyond seeing anything new. I was wrong. After that third year I saw a lot more than I thought I would. I went up to high school and everything was so much different. The grades were harder, the assignments were harder and the teachers were harder.
The summer of 2012 was the start of the downward spiral into my high school career. This ass hole guy decided to dump me and my dumb ass kept going after him when I know I shouldn’t have so I got hella drunk one night (as a 14 year old) and made this hilarious video with my bff that people hated apparently even though we looked hot. And so we got kicked out of cheer lol. Stupid mrs hatfield even had the vid on her phone like wtf lol. So yeah great start to high school.
Personal Narrative: Continue My Story Of High School
Continue my story. After my junior high school to continue learning to a higher level that is high school, I also know many more friends, although the majority of women, but I really liked high school. I followed the scouts and extracurricular (sacred site), I followed the required time scout for 10th grade I actually do not like the scout, I've skipped a scout with friends are a group with me. I also have experience in (sacred site), I followed this martial arts because I wanted to protect himself and the people I love. I've also been in action in the (sacred site), on top of my stomach was placed a large stone square shaped later on at
Personal Narrative : My Transition Into High School
My transition into high school was as easy as taking a breath. I had always found school quiet easy and I never had to put much effort into getting promising grades. Before high school I had my whole life figured out, or at least I thought I did. I had planned that I would attend a law school or major in English. After a while of being in high school I started to realize many things. My parents did not have the financial stability to send me to a law school, I was not as smart as all the other kids, little by little I began struggling with a negative mentality about myself and my future. I slowly let go of my dream of becoming a lawyer and decided to join the Health Careers Academy. Soon enough, I began to have a deep interest in the medical field but then again I continued to have the same question; how can I afford going to a medical school? I did not know much about college or what it took to get into college. I assumed I just had to have a pretty transcript and that was all it took. My self confidence began to lower as I saw how other students cruised through their high school years so effortlessly. I never wanted to ask for help because I did not want to seem “dumb”. I would bite my tongue and hold in all the unanswered questions I had. My junior year, I was having a very difficult time. I had a tight schedule which consisted of almost all AP or honors courses. I slowly began to give up because I did not believe that I could do it. I let my grades slip failing almost
Personal Narrative: Moving From School To High School
Life is like an ocean. It ebbs and flows. The only certainty is that there isn't any. {except for death & taxes}.
Essay On Sophomore Year
I just can’t believe there is only few more days of high school left. As the days are getting closer and closer, it's getting sad. I still remember the day I stepped into Maine East High School as a Freshman, at that time, all I wished for was to graduate from this school with good grades. High school was not the way I imagined, it is way different from what I thought and definitely different from Middle School. Freshman year was the “exploring/adventure” year, finding where each classes were, what activities/clubs were offered at this school and many more. Freshman year went quickly and then Sophomore year came up. Sophomore year was probably the least stressful year in high school but from Sophomore year my family and friends started asking me the scariest question “What are you doing after high school, which career?
Losing Friends In High School
Losing friends, meeting new people, first job, first car, boyfriend, getting my license. Throughout the last four years of high school I’ve experienced a lot of new things and learned a lot on the way. I remember walking into school on the first day of freshman year; I was thinking that these are going to be a very long couple of years. I was wrong; these past four years have gone by so fast, so I guess my dad was right when he said they’d fly by.
High School Research Paper
The advice I would give to someone starting their high school career would be to come on time, everyday until schools out. Don’t give up, and stop going to school. Try your best to stay on track, and on task. Ignore your friends if they’re distracting you, or if they’re just encouraging you to sluff. Stay out of drama, and definitely don’t sluff. Don’t procrastinate, and try not to fall behind, Use your time wisely.
The Epidemic Of Distracted Driving
Alexander Heit’s final text cut off at mid sentence. Before he could send it, police say the 22 year old, University of Northern Colorado student drifted into oncoming traffic, jerked the steering wheel and went off the road, rolling his car (CBS news, 137). Distracted driving has been a big problem for a while which has caused thousands of car accidents. Cell phone use while driving raises the risk of serious injury or death, using a cell phone while driving can and will kill you or the people around you, and using a cell phone while driving is just as dangerous as driving drunk.
Essay about High School Graduation Day
Many people have experienced the over whelming excitement that you feel as you approach high school graduation day, and for me, that’s a day that I will never forget. The amount of emotions that you feel on graduation day is unbelievable, and I have yet to experience anything else like it. I can remember feeling anxious to celebrate the big day with my friends and family, while at the same time I was panicking thinking about having to walk across the stage in front of that many people. Then, the more I thought about the reality of graduation day, I started to get curious, but nervous, about being able to start a new chapter in my life once graduation day had passed. There are several reasons why I, still

Personal Narrative: My Year Of High School
Throughout my years of high school I have always strived for the best grades that I could attain, and they didn’t come easy. There were plenty of distractions that had driven me off course. Shortcuts In To Kill A Mockingbird
I clearly remember my Algebra teacher, Mr. Craig Lipscomb. He treated every student with respect. He expected his students to follow his instruction, lest they get it wrong. Personal Narrative: My Freshman Year
Back in 2012 I was accepted into Early college academy at south-ridge (ECAS). This school is particularly special because it allows high school students to take dual credit courses in a community college. Obtaining high grades in my classes while also being required to do my best was something I always had trouble with. My freshman year I made the decision to improve my grades and become a better student.…
Personal Narrative: My Journey To High School
Looking back to middle school I remember the fear I had for someday having to go to high school. My teachers always told me how different and harder it would be when I went. My older sister was in 9th grade at the time and I wanted ti be with her when I went. But the high school she was at was different from the one all my friends were going. I always had a hard time making decisions and now I had to choose between going to a school with my friends or going to a school that would help me prepare for the future. So I decided I would just apply to my sisters school to see if I got accepted, going into the interview I wasn't really scared because it didn't matter to me, I just thought whatever happens, happens. Surprisingly I got accepted and…

Personal Narrative: Life After Jr High
There isn’t much I remember from elementary school, I never thought anything I did before jr high really mattered. However there is one thing I won’t be able to forget about. Essay On My High School Experience
Kindergarten to 8th grade I attended a private school called Holy Family Catholic School. The school was very small along with classes, teachers extremely strict and hallways always quiet, the totally opposite from Dr. Henry A. Wise. My first day of high school I was very nervous I was not used to big classes, endless amount of students in the halls and the loud ruckus. This was an educational challenge for me because it was a totally different learning environment for me that i had to get used to quickly. My studying habits also challenged me through high school because test and quizzes were given out frequently and if you didn't know how to study you probably wouldn’t get a good grade.

Narrative Essay On Junior High School
Show More When entering junior high, we were constantly reminded by teachers, parents, and school administrators how different it was from elementary school. It was supposed to be the start of a transition from childhood to young adulthood, and though I discounted many of these sentiments at the time, looking back it certainly was. In an instant, it seemed, everyone started swearing and the hallways began to smell of a putrid mixture of not enough or too much cologne. For the first time we had to change before gym, no one really sure whether it was more socially acceptable to change in a bathroom stall or feign confidence by doing it out in the open. Talk swirled of who got their periods, who was wearing what bra size, and which boys needed to stop cultivating …show more content… There weren’t many pictures taken of me from this time, but the few that I’ve found portray a lanky girl with a mouth full of braces, with a body that looked like it couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be nine or nineteen. My hair was caught halfway between being long and short, and my feet felt like flippers compared with my height. Of course, looking back I can see all these apparent flaws. By seventeen, most people have learned well enough what is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ with their bodies, however, at twelve I had no such notion of this in terms of myself. I had never seriously contemplated what other people thought of my face or body, especially the opposite gender. In my eyes at least, though my slight curves said otherwise, I was still a child. My first foray into the high school side of the building, however, permanently altered this idea for me. Though in junior high we were not allowed in the senior high, I found myself over there after school one day- I think it was to use the vending machine near the cafeteria. With purposeful strides, I crossed over to the red tiles that signaled the forbidden territory of the senior high, keeping my head up in attempt to seem confident. I didn’t want to be caught in my small act of

Maquoketa High School Narrative
Maquoketa, upon my initial impression when I moved here in 2012, was a small quiet town and although that is something that I now I know it is also so much more. Personal Narrative: My Junior Year Of High School
The end of the day comes whether you have gotten up to do something productive or if you have simply remained inanimate while time moves around you. We forget to appreciate the moment while constantly reaching for a hypothetically more fulfilling life.
